A second calibration is suggested at 30 seconds after powering

ON the unit. This allows the thermal sensor to adjust to the

surrounding temperatures. Additional calibrations may be

required as surrounding temperature changes or any time a

fixed, non-uniform shading appears on the display screen.

3.7 Range Focus Adjustment (60mm and 100mm Lenses):

The range focus ring is used to focus the objective lens for

objects viewed at varied distances. Rotate the range focus ring

counter-clockwise for distant objects up to infinity. Rotate the

range focus ring clockwise for close objects.

The 60mm lens is indicated by an “L” in the model name and

can focus to 2 meters. The 100mm lens is indicated by an “E”

in the model name and can focus to 10 meters.
